When it looks like you're free once again your plans will be ruined by Don Nui. To avoid her knife attacks you'll have to press down, right, A in a QTE. The next day Ryo and Ren make a break for the elevator and freedom, but when it looks like you're home free Yuan will drop in on you. At the end of the sequence you'll have a command QTE to bust open a door (up, A), and then you'll have some cut-scenes. Now you have the first of several escape sequences where you'll have to listen to Ren's instructions and press directions and action buttons to make sure Ryo and Ren go the same way and don't slow each other down. To escape when the guard opens the door you'll have to pass a command QTE: X, A. When you wake up you'll be in a small cell handcuffed to Ren.

Say the password to him and he'll let you through, then you should go up the stairs saying the password to any guards who stop you until you come to a corridor with a big door decorated with dragons. Go up the stairs until you find a guard in front of an open corridor. Say the password "Dragons don't sleep" and he'll point you to the stairs behind him. If you go inside and turn left you should see a guard in a black suit similar to the one who kidnapped Zhang. First you're going to have to find the Dancing Dragon Building so as you leave the Great View Building go left, under the archway between the buildings, up the steps into Dimsum Qr, right, left again, and then it will be on your right as you're heading out of Dimsum Qr. The Dancing Dragon Building is in Ren's rival Don Nui's territory so he won't go there with you. Ring the bell on the counter and watch the cut-scene, making note of the password "Dragons don't sleep" and the building where you can find Zhu - the Dancing Dragon Building. Follow Ren up the stairs in the building and go into Great View Herbs. In Kowloon you can go into most of the big buildings and they all have their own maps to help you get around inside so once again make a habit of buying new maps whenever you see them. When you're in Thousand White Qr pick up a map from the dispenser next to the Great View Building. Ren will lead the way but don't run too far ahead of him or he'll lose you and go back to the hideout.
Ren knows another associate of Zhu named Yang who'll be able to help you find him - he can be found in a herb shop at the Great View Building. Walk forward and you'll meet up with Cool Z who will take you to Ren's hideout where you'll be staying for the duration of your time in Kowloon. Ryo arrives by bus and you'll start inside the gate on Dragon Street. Welcome to Kowloon, the ancient walled city.
